Towards the end of last year (2011), a Swedish based diving company "Ocean Explorer" found a 197 feet cylindrical object at the bottom of the Baltic sea, between Sweden and Finland.
Since then, plans have been put in place for an expedition to take place that will help solve the mystery of identifying what the object is. On the 15th of June 2012, divers from Ocean Explorer revisited the location of the strange object and have confirmed that they have in fact found something abnormal at in the seabed. They have described the object as about the size of a jumbo-jet rising to 3 or 4 meters from the seabed with rounded but rugged edges as well as an egg shaped hole leading into it. After various scans prior to the dive, it was also found that there seemed to be a dug out path on the seabed leading directly to the object. On their dive yesterday samples were brought up to be examined and further sonar scans where taken of the object, and as of yet they are just waiting for the results to be processed.
What ever the object is, it is making headlines. I just hope that the media follow up on this story!

I have been studying the sonar images and have posted my concepts on the ideaboard for Ocean X, under the headings Speculation Geological and Marine. I believe they are way off in their size estimate and the object is a plesisaur. I have discovered many other interesting things in the sonar image, which I disuss in depth. Site is here
